I received an alert for a new application. Now what?

Please note:

What Triggers a ‘New Application Detected’ Alert

  • You may have started utilities at a new address
  • An identity verification request was processed using your credit file / social security number

Is there anything I have to do?

  • If you recognize the alert there is no further action required
  • If you do not recognize the alert you can contact the company. Most alerts will include an address and phone number for the company
