What Triggers a New Address Found Alert
- A new address has been reported on your Credit File
- Look at the date of change. Some alerts may be delayed depending on the reporting source
- If you submitted an Address Change via United States Postal Services
- Approval on a new lease
- Applying for a new line of credit or increase using a new address
- Becoming an authorized user or co-signing for another individual
Is there anything I have to do?
- If you recognize the change there are no further actions
- If you don’t recognize the change you can contact the United States Postal Service to make sure there hasn’t been an address change/forwarding put in place
- Review your current credit report to ensure the information is correct
