How do I place a credit lock on the mobile app?

Please note:

• You must verify your identity before being able to lock your credit.
• Only you can turn on and turn off the Credit Lock.
• The Credit Lock feature only applies to Experian.

Process Steps:

1. Log into your Aura app.

2. You will see “My protection summary” after you are logged in. Select “Credit”.

3. In the top right corner, you will click on the three vertical dots.

4. Then select “Credit Lock and Freeze”.

5. You will find “Experian Credit Lock” and the toggle will be gray stating it is unlocked. You will click on the toggle once to lock your credit. 

6. Once it is locked, it will turn blue and provide you with the date it was locked.
