- Activate Call Protection and Click Continue.
- Select your mobile Carrier.
- Provide your phone number and click continue (A code will be sent for verification).
- Select to receive a text message or a phone call for a verification code. Enter the verification code.
- Allow Aura to access your Contacts by clicking Continue, then click Allow on the system prompt.
- Allow push notifications by clicking Continue, then click Allow on the system prompt.
- Go to settings and turn on ‘Silence Unknown Callers’ (Click on Show me how)
- Go to settings
- Tap Phone
- Tap Silence Unknown Callers
- Once completed, return to the app and click I've done this.
- Set up conditional call forwarding with your carrier to send all unknown calls to Aura. Please tap ‘Dial code’.
- A test call will be sent to complete activation. Once activation is complete it will advise that call forwarding is activated and your unknown calls are now being answered and screened by Aura. (Customers should NOT answer the call. If they answer, the OS will mark this caller as trusted and will not silence the calls from this caller in case they need to activate the feature once again. To fix that, users should remove all call records with this number from Recent calls).
- Next, enable Caller ID by clicking ‘Show me how’.
- Go to settings
- Tap Phone
- Tap Call Blocking & Identification
- Next, set up your voicemail greeting by clicking continue.
- Click default then Save.
- Click Custom then Save.
- Give permission to access your microphone.
- Go to settings
- Tap Aura
- Turn on Microphone
- Create a custom voicemail and click save.
- Congratulations! You are all set. Click Continue.
