Comcast confirmed that over 35 million Xfinity customers were involved in a breach as a result of a data security incident in October 2023. The data that was compromised ranges from usernames and hashed passwords to the last four of the SSNs, contact info, DOB, and secret questions/answers. Comcast is working on notifying impacted customers and is continuing an analysis of the breach.
