How do I activate my online security in my app for Android?

Reminders

• When VPN is active, the green light will circle continuously around Power Button.
• The Android OS version must be 9.0 or newer.

Process Steps

1. Login into your Aura App.

2. Complete 2 factor authentication if needed.
3. Scroll down to “Online Security”.
4. Click on “Get started”.

5. It will ask if you want to allow Aura to be configured.

6. Select “OK” to confirm the connection request.

7. Go back to your Aura App and you can now choose between Shield or VPN. Pick which VPN you’d like to activate and press “Protect this Device”. You cannot enable both at the same time.
