1. What is it?
a. Every Aura plan comes with a $1,000,000 insurance policy to cover eligible losses and fees due to identity theft.
b. This includes coverage for stolen funds due to identity theft, in addition to legal fees, travel fees, and work time-off reimbursement to resolve an identity theft event.
2. What are the “eligible losses” covered?
a. Aura partners with an insurance provider to extend this benefit.
b. The insurance provider assesses if a case qualifies as a “stolen identity” event.

3. Why is this important?
a. In 2020 alone, the U.S. FTC reported over 4.7 million incidents of identity theft and fraud, leading to tangible financial losses for U.S. residents of over $3.3 billion.
